Pre-owned designer coffee tables

At KLASSIK, you will find an ever-changing selection of pre-owned designer coffee tables from the 20th century. The collection includes original vintage coffee tables by designers such as Poul Kjærholm, Hans J. Wegner and Arne Jacobsen.

Each coffee table is selected with a focus on authenticity, manufacturer, quality and condition. As these are original pre-owned pieces, many models will only be available in one or a small number of examples.

Original coffee tables from Danish design history

Coffee tables from the period 1920–1980 are available in many different shapes, sizes and materials. The selection ranges from simple tables in solid wood to more architectural constructions in steel, glass and stone.

The different materials and constructions reflect each designer’s approach to function, craftsmanship and form. On each product page, you will find information about the designer, manufacturer, materials, dimensions, production period and condition.

You can learn more about the designers behind the furniture in our overview of Danish and international designers.

Choose the right vintage coffee table

When choosing a pre-owned designer coffee table, it is worth considering its height, size and shape in relation to the sofa and the rest of the room. A round or organically shaped table can create a softer expression, while a square or rectangular table often provides a more precise and architectural composition.

You should also consider how much surface space you require and whether the table’s materials should create contrast or harmony with the surrounding furniture.

Original condition or professional restoration

Some of our vintage coffee tables are sold in their original condition with preserved patina, while others have been professionally restored in our own cabinetmaking workshop. We work with respect for the table’s construction, materials and original expression.
